The platform forces evidence uploads such as registration documents, banking details and beneficial ownership, and routes high-risk hits to a human reviewer with a full decision log retained for audit.

How is donor compliance enforced (DGR receipting, restricted-fund segregation, AML)?

Accepted Answer

DGR-eligible gifts are receipted with the ATO-compliant fields (ABN, gift type, declaration) on the date of receipt. Restricted, faith-based and donor-restricted funds, including Sharia-compliant donation handling where required, live in segregated ledgers with their own acquittal rules. Donations above AUSTRAC threshold reporting limits trigger source-of-funds prompts.

Yes. ECS 1 to 4 are built into the project module: documented activities and partner agreements (ECS 1), funds-control and beneficiary verification (ECS 2), anti-fraud, anti-corruption and anti-terrorist-financing controls (ECS 3) and protection of vulnerable individuals (ECS 4). Cross-border transfers carry the supporting evidence with the transaction.

How do you support AUSTRAC AML/CTF and the Australian Privacy Principles?

Aid Synergy provides KYC capture on counterparties, sanctions and PEP screening, threshold monitoring, suspicious-matter prompts, and an AML/CTF policy register. Personal information is held under APP 1 to 13 with role-based access, data-minimisation defaults and Australian data residency.
